Partners
Groundwork Denver is a community-based nonprofit that partners with local residents and organizations, the City and other governmental agencies, foundations and private businesses to create programs that improve the environment one community at a time.
Groundwork USA is a network of independent, not-for-profit, environmental
businesses called Groundwork Trusts. Each Groundwork organization
works with communities to improve their environment, economy and quality
of life through local action by getting local people, businesses, government
and other organizations involved in practical projects. The Groundwork
USA network is built on partnership and linked together by the Groundwork
USA national office, with support from the Environmental Protection Agency
Brownfields Program and the National Park Service Rivers, Trails and
Conservation Assistance Program. There are currently 18 independent

Atlantis Community provides direct services, and empowers people with
disabilities to integrate, with full and equal rights, into all parts

- FrontRange Earth Force (FREF) supports youth-driven service learning programs, designed to encourage youth to identify and solve problems in their community. www.earthforce.org/section/offices/frontrange/
- Denver Urban Gardens (DUG) assists neighborhoods with the planning, design, coordination and construction of community gardens, most of which are located in low-income urban neighborhoods. www.dug.org
- The Denver Youth Employment Program provides employment
and training services that assist in addressing the educational, job readiness
and career exploration goals of youth.

- Northeast Denver Housing Center (NDHC) has provided affordable housing, housing counseling, and other community development services to Denver residents for 25 years. www.nedenverhousing.org
- AmeriCorps*NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) is a full-time,
team-based residential program for men and women age 18-24. NCCC Youth
Corps provides opportunities for youth age 14-17. www.americorps.gov
