Healthy Air For North Denver (HAND)

HAND is a group of people representing citizens, government, business, and non-profit organizations working collaboratively to improve North Denver’s environment. HAND has four work groups: Land Use and Planning, Diesel and Stationary Sources, Indoor Air, and Community Involvement. Groundwork Denver serves as the fiscal and coordinating agent for HAND, currently funded through and EPA Community Action for a Renewed Environment (CARE) grant.

HAND covers a large part of North Denver including Cole, Clayton, Sunnyside, Globeville, Elyria-Swansea, Northeast Park Hill, Chaffee Park, Highland, and southern Commerce City. Contact Charlie Chase charliechase@groundworkdenver.org if you would like to participate in HAND.
