Volunteers Needed!
Reduce Energy Use and Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Help Denver Residents Reduce their Energy Bills

On Saturday, July 31, 2010, in support of Colorado Cares Day, volunteers will bring neighborhood energy action to the Barnum neighborhood in Denver. In teams of two, volunteers will go to every door in the neighborhood changing out front porch light bulbs to compact fluorescent bulbs, providing information about reducing energy use, and signing up people for recycling, free weatherization and street trees.

Volunteers should be comfortable knocking on doors and talking to residents, and have a desire to improve our environment and help people connect with resources and services. It's fun!
